SatRAS™ • Satellite Return Active Systems
ORBIT IS NOT A ONE WAY TRIP
SingularOrbit is pioneering active orbital capture, on-orbit servicing, targeted de-orbit, and intact Earth return through SatRAS™ (Satellite Return Active Systems)—delivering three-phase recovery across LEO, MEO, and GEO for commercial and government operators starting in 2028.
MASTERING EARTH'S CROWDED ORBITS.
Thousands of active and defunct satellites currently circle Earth across Low, Medium, and Geostationary orbits—creating an urgent operational need for reliable spacecraft retrieval, life-extension servicing, and controlled de-orbit.
SingularOrbit's SatRAS™ (Satellite Return Active Systems) division provides commercial constellation operators, research institutions, and defense agencies with bespoke orbital capture and intact Earth return. Using our autonomous Orbital Capture Vehicle (OCV), SatRAS™ encloses uncooperative or end-of-life spacecraft without mechanical grappling damage and returns them safely to Earth.
Client manifest reservations open in Fall 2027 ahead of commercial and government flight operations in 2028.

ACTIVE RECOVERY
Conventional spacecraft end their operational lives as unrecoverable orbital debris or burn up during uncontrolled atmospheric disposal. SatRAS™ (Satellite Return Active Systems) transforms spaceflight into a two-way operational loop—enabling satellite operators to retrieve hardware for post-flight failure analysis, refurbish high-value buses, and recover sensitive sovereign technology intact.
Powered by SingularOrbit's Orbital Capture Vehicle (OCV), BAEMIS hypervelocity impact shielding, and SPASE guided parafoil recovery systems, SatRAS™ begins commercial and government flight operations in 2028.

Briefing FAQ.
Key technical, operational, and scheduling answers for commercial satellite operators, defense partners, media, and aerospace engineers.
Commercial and government satellite capture, servicing, and 3-phase return architecture.
When do SatRAS™ commercial and government operations begin?
SatRAS™ (Satellite Return Active Systems) is scheduled to begin commercial and government flight operations in 2028, with client manifest positions opening in Fall 2027. A dedicated SatRAS™ Architecture & Manifest Briefing takes place on December 14, 2026.
How are SatRAS™ recovery missions structured across Phases 1, 2, and 3?
Phase 1 focuses on rapid capture and intact return of CubeSats, smallsats, and orbital research capsules. Phase 2 scales the Orbital Capture Vehicle (OCV) envelope to service, harvest components from, or return medium-class constellation satellites. Phase 3 delivers full-scale capture, life-extension servicing, or intact recovery of heavy communications and national security assets in MEO and GEO.
How does the Orbital Capture Vehicle (OCV) capture uncooperative satellites safely?
Rather than relying on high-risk mechanical grappling arms that can shear delicate solar arrays or antennas, our Orbital Capture Vehicle (OCV) uses sensor-fusion optical/LIDAR relative navigation to match the target satellite's spin rate and attitude before enclosing it inside a cushioned, thermally shielded return vault.
Deep Space Logistics Services and end-to-end orbital transit planning.
What is DSLS (Deep Space Logistics Services)?
Deep Space Logistics Services (DSLS) is a wholly owned division of SingularOrbit focused on launch vehicle integration, high-energy orbital transfer planning, orbital asset relocation, and end-to-end payload return logistics.

When are SPASE and BAEMIS releasing for beta users?
SPASE (Singular Parachute Aerodynamics Simulation Engineering) Beta 1.0 opens to registered users on November 26, 2026. BAEMIS (Ballistic Aerodynamics Engineering Micrometeorite Impact Software) enters its focused beta release on December 4, 2026. Visit the Solutions page to download `.ics` calendar reminders.
